Joseph G. DeMoranvilleGrafton – Joseph G. DeMoranville, 53, passed away at home February 15, 2022 following a brief illness.

He leaves his children Joseph DeMoranville, Jr., Lauren DeMoranville and his wife Michelle (Girouard), his brother Robert DeMoranville and his wife Colleen, Cheryl Geremia and her husband Robert and Michael DeMoranville and his wife Laurie and several nieces and nephews.

Joe was born July 13, 1968 in Providence, Rhode Island, son of the late Joan (Curtis) and Robert DeMoranville. He was predeceased by his daughter Lindsey DeMoranville and grandson Justen Svendbye.

His roots were in Providence where he attended school and earned some college credit before he joined the United States Marine Corps and was a veteran of Operation Desert Storm.

Following his military service Joe earned his CDL and he was a truck driver by trade for many years. Away from work he prized time with his son Joe and daughter Lauren above all else. If you knew Joe you’ll remember his warmth, kindness and his gift of gab.

All are welcome to gather with Joe’s family and friends Friday February 25th from 9-10:30am at Roney Funeral Home 152 Worcester Street N. Grafton, MA 01536 followed by the celebration of his Funeral Mass at St. Mary’s Church 17 Waterville St. N. Grafton, MA 01536. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery. Joe’s immediate family is taking special precautions for COVID19 given the risk category of an immediate family member so masks are REQUIRED for all attending the calling hours and Funeral Mass.
