Maureen A. CampbellSalem, N.H. – Maureen A. (O’Donnell) Campbell, 77, of Salem, NH passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at Bear Mountain at Andover in Andover, MA.

She was born and educated in Marlboro, MA the daughter of the late Ann (Spratt) and Francis O’Donnell. After graduating from nursing school Maureen worked at Marlboro Hospital where she met her husband Richard. Upon moving to Salem, NH she worked at Bon Secours Hospital, now Holy Family Hospital, in Methuen, MA until her retirement from nursing. She then worked for American Greetings as a card merchandiser until her full retirement. She liked watching old Westerns, travel shows and British comedies. She also enjoyed gardening, knitting and of course sharing in her grandchildren’s many school and sport activities and accomplishments.

Maureen is survived by her four children; Theresa Steele and her husband David of Manchester, NH, Richard Campbell and his wife Sherri of St. Johns, FL, Christopher Campbell of Salem, NH and Matthew Campbell and his wife Aimee of Salem, NH; her close family friend, Tom Egan; her grandchildren, Jennifer and her wife Becky, Meghan and her husband Ryan,  Kate, Nathan, Mackenzie, Mason, Molly and Derek; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Richard L. Campbell, her grandson, Christopher Campbell Jr., and her brother, Francis O’Donnell.

Services are private for the family. Arrangements are under the care of Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.
