Robert S. CunninghamNorthborough – Robert Stafford Cunningham, 68 years of age, passed away peacefully at home in the presence of his beloved family on Thursday, April 14, 2022.

Bob was born in Natick the son of Raymond and Lorraine (Hirth) Cunningham. He was raised in Framingham, graduating from Framingham South H.S.

Bob owned and operated Mayflower Tree and Landscape Company before earning his Construction Supervisor’s license. He ran large commercial and municipal projects in the New England area. He had a passion for freshwater bass fishing and was a member of Worcester Bass Masters Club, participating in fishing tournaments. Utilizing his many skills he and Sally renovated their 1880’s home and enjoyed landscaping the yard. He will be remembered for his strong work ethic and love of family.

Surviving Bob are his devoted wife of 45 years, Sally (Tibbetts) Cunningham and their daughters, Sara Biadasz and her husband Sean of Auburn and Laura Erb and her husband Robert, “RJ” of Oxford. Bob is also survived by his mother, Lorraine Ketchi; his grandchildren: Max and Miles Biadasz, Aria and Lucas Erb; his sisters, Karyn DeMore and her husband Michael and Kim Fontaine and her husband Andrew. Bob was preceded in death by his father, Raymond and his step-father Krysti Ketchi, who raised him as his own.

A time to gather with Bob’s family will be held between 10 AM- Noon on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main Street, Northborough. Interment will follow at Howard Street Cemetery, Northborough.
