MARLBOROUGH – The Newbury Comics at the Solomon Pond Mall is closing.
According to a Facebook post, “After many successful years of operation, the Newbury Comics Solomon Pond Mall location will be closing. Our last day of business will be March 26.
“We want to thank all our customers very, very much for shopping at our store, and hope you will continue to visit our other locations. We’d also like to thank our great staff – past and present – for their hard work and contribution to our company.”
The store is offering a discount of 25% off everything, excluding gift cards and previous purchases. The discount applies to the Solomon Mall location only.
With the closing of the Marlborough location, the nearest Newbury Comics in the area is at the Natick Mall.
