Emie VancolOct. 1, 1938 ~ April 29, 2023

Hudson – Emie went to be with the Lord on April 29, 2023.

She was a spiritually mature person. She was a woman of faith and a prayer warrior. She really believed in Jesus-Christ. Her life was a blessing to anyone who had a chance to meet her.

She also raised many children from our family and her surroundings. Indeed, she also cared for their education and physical well-being. Then, she had raised a community of responsible and productive citizens.

During her pilgrimage on earth, lot of people were so proud of her, they called her ‘mom’ because she had an immense impact on their lives. She was amazingly involved in her church, which was Anointed Baptist Church by praying for the sick and needy people from everywhere. She profoundly touched so many lives for Christ by preaching them the Word of God.

She was also the queen of her church’s prayer meeting and Bible study held on the phone line since the beginning of Covid-19 in 2019. Her mind was very sharp at answering challenging Bible questions at the end of each Bible study.

She also loved flowers (any flower per say) and cooking. She must have already joined the group of best cooks in heaven. In fact, her homemade soup was the best, and her kalalou or gonmbo sauce with crab and Tonm-Tomn were special in texture and flavor. Mhuuuuu!

She always prayed for, and provided support and love for her family and friends from every social background. She was one of the kind to be loved by everyone around her. She truly was a source of blessings and comfort to so many.

Manmie Emie (our love), you will be greatly missed by all those that you left behind.

Finally, our hearts are broken by that unexpected loss, but we are not desperate, because we know for sure that you have already been in God’s very presence while enjoying the labor of your faith in God.

We love you and miss you dearly.

A funeral service and celebration of Emie’s life will be held at the First Baptist Church, 162 Landham Road, Sudbury, MA 01776 on Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 9:30 to 11:30 AM. Family and friends may attend a period of visitation from 8:30 to 9:30 AM prior to the service. Procession will follow to Forestvale Cemetery, Broad Street, Hudson, MA for committal services.

Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home of Hudson assisted with arrangements.
