Concord – Sally Sheldon, 96 of Northborough and formerly of East Dennis, passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 25, 2023, shortly after celebrating her 96th birthday. Born in Beverly, she was the daughter of the late F. Herman and Ester (Noble) Saville.
In 1949 she married her husband of 72 years, the late Wilbur “Bud” Sheldon, going on to have four children. Stephen A., Donald F., Barry C., and Brian D. Sheldon, and settling in Concord. While there, she enjoyed working in the Concord Flower Shop.
After retirement, Sally and Bud moved to East Dennis. While there, she enjoyed many years hosting her growing family on Cape Cod. Sally supported her community as a volunteer for Meals on Wheels.
Bud and Sally recently moved to Northborough to be closer to family.
In addition to her sons, Sally is survived by her eight grandchildren, Sarah, Scott, Geoffry, Robert, Lauren, Colleen, Michael, and Isabella, and four great-grandchildren, Oliver, Jackie, Caroline and Elsie.
