MARLBOROUGH – An Indian restaurant is coming to the site on Boston Post Road West formerly occupied by the Westender restaurant.
A sign covering the former restaurant’s name announced that Saffron Indian Restaurant & Bar is “coming soon.”
The space is currently undergoing renovations, according to a permit pulled on May 19. The renovations include a remodel of the lobby; removal of the stage; and an upgrade to the electrical system.
An opening date for the new restaurant has yet to be announced.
