SHREWSBURY – The Lake Quinsigamond Commission issued an order July 17 declaring Lake Quinsigamond and Flint Pond “no wake zones” to “minimize property damage and protect the shoreline.”

After last weekend’s torrential rainfall, the lake is currently experiencing high water levels.

In a press release, the commission reminded users of the lake to keep their headway speeds below 6 miles per hour.
