Hudson – Patrick Kelly Tarves, 56, of Hudson, MA passed away surrounded by loved ones on July 13, 2023. He was born in Marlborough, MA on August 5, 1966 and is predeceased by parents Marvin C. and Carolle M. Tarves (Wyman).
Pat worked for the Sudbury Department of Public Works for 38 years and was promoted to a Highway Foreman.
Having grown up with many siblings on a farm, he valued the importance of family and was passionate about his loved ones. He loved every single person who crossed his path. Pat was a generous man who would do anything for anyone.
He was a sports fanatic, big-time golfer, and a Mr. Fixit kind of guy. He had a great appreciation for the simple things in life. His eyes lit up for snowstorms, ice pops, prime rib, and root beer floats. A hard-working, sweet, innocent man, gone way to soon.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Cheryl Tarves (Perkins), step mother, 13 siblings, his only child and four step children, his grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and many loving friends and coworkers. And not to forget his dog Buddy.
Visitation was held at Duckett Funeral Home of J. S. Waterman & Sons, 656 Boston Post Rd., Sudbury, on July 19, 2023, followed by a funeral service.
