Saturday, Aug. 5, noon to 7 p.m., DCU Center, Worcester. Presented by the India Society of Worcester, which is based in Shrewsbury. Food, cultural performances and more.

Spirit of Hudson Brewfest

Saturday, Aug. 5, 3 to 6 p.m., Avidia Bank parking lot, 30 South St., Hudson. Sponsored by the Hudson Rotary Club. More than 30 breweries with beer, cider, seltzer and other malt beverages. There will also be food trucks, music and outdoor games. There will be a single session from 2 to 6 p.m. for VIP and 3 to 6 p.m. for general admission.

Downtown Music Series

Saturdays from 5 to 8 p.m. in front of Hudson Town Hall. Food trucks, retail vendors, live music and more. Tonight, it’s Little Black Dress.

Jumpin’ Juba

Wednesday, Aug. 9 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Neary field, Southborough. Jumpin’ Juba is the final concert in Southborough Recreation’s Summer Concert Series.

Worcester African Festival – Saturday, Aug. 5, noon to 6 p.m., Worcester Common Oval. The festival aims to promote the diversity of African cultures and to unite under one common interest of love and pride for African heritage. Merchandise vendors, African food vendors, artists, DJs and many more.

Redcoats and Rebels – Saturday, Aug. 5, and Sunday, Aug. 6, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days, Old Sturbridge Village, 1 Old Sturbridge Village Road, Sturbridge. See the largest military re-enactment in New England with hundreds of costumed Revolutionary War reenactors, both soldiers and civilians, encamped on the Village Common.
