Mabel JonesAshland – Mabel (Falamino) Jones, 93, of Ashland, MA, formerly of Berlin, MA and Hudson, MA, died on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at the Waterville Lodge in Ashland, MA.

Mabel was born in Hudson, MA, daughter of the late Manuel and Adeline (Ribas) Falamino. She was raised in Hudson, MA attending local schools. Mabel worked for many years around Hudson, MA in the restaurant business as a waitress and short order cook. She most recently was working at P J’s in Hudson, MA as a bartender until retiring at the age of 80. She spent most of her life in the Hudson, MA and Berlin, MA area and was known by many of the locals who enjoyed her unique personality. She was always laughing and making others laugh with her was her passion. She will always be remembered by those who loved and knew her.

Mabel leaves her daughter Nancy Morse-Bey and her husband Omar Bey of Shrewsbury, MA; her grandchildren, Amber Alas and her husband Milton Alas of Worcester, MA, Jessica Smith and her husband Ted Smith of Blue Hill, ME, Amy Morse of Templeton, MA; great grandchildren, Kendra and Derek Alas; her sister Susan Landry of Hudson, MA; step-sister Maria O’Neil of Northborough, MA along with her nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She will be reunited with her life partner Bill Oram with whom she spent 42 years together and was predeceased by her son Paul Jones; her brother Arthur Falamino and sister Irene Falamino.

Relatives and friends are invited to a period of visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 am on Sunday, August 13, 2023 at Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson, MA. A funeral service and celebration of her life will follow at 11:00 am on Sunday, August 13, 2023 in the funeral home; followed by a procession to Saint Michael Cemetery in Hudson, MA for Committal Services.

Mabel’s family would like to acknowledge and thank the staff at Waterville Lodge, especially Jackson and his loyal team for all the comfort and care they gave Mabel during her time with them.
