Tilton, N.H. – Vincent Joseph Molloy of Tilton, New Hampshire died Friday, August 11, 2023 at the age of 71, after living many years with Lewy Body Dementia. Vincent was the son of the late James Vincent Molloy and Genevieve Zita Molloy.
He is survived by his wife Linda Molloy, son Daren Molloy, daughter Cailin Molloy (Daniel Ehrhorn), grandson Vincent and granddaughter Amberle, all of New Hampshire. He is also survived by his sister Anne Molloy (Henry Posner) in Pittsburgh, PA and two nieces and one nephew.
Vincent grew up in Hudson, MA. He studied at Boston College where he received a B.S. degree in business administration, followed by a J.D. degree from Boston College Law School. He worked as a solo-practitioner attorney at law in his home town for most of his life. In his later years Vincent moved to St. Paul, Minnesota and then to New Hampshire.
Vincent thoroughly experienced life, attending such historical events as Woodstock ‘69 and the launch of the last Apollo mission in 1972. Vincent was an outdoor enthusiast who loved hiking, fishing, cross-country skiing and camping in all weather. He especially enjoyed visiting Newfoundland, Canada, where he had countless adventures with friends and family.
A memorial gathering, a chance to reminisce about Vin, in Hudson is being planned for Tuesday, September 12 from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Anyone interested in attending, please contact Anne Molloy at 412-683-4554 for more information.
