MARLBOROUGH – The Marlborough Alliance for Prevention will host a candlelight vigil for International Overdose Awareness Day on Thursday, Aug. 31, at 7 p.m.

The vigil will be held at Immaculate Conception Church, 11 Prospect St.

Join in a remembrance of those who lost their lives to overdose. Bring a photo of a loved one. Candles will be lit as we say their names and remember loved ones with music, poems and guest speakers.

All are welcome.

In memory of those lives lost to overdose in 2022, a special purple flag display will be placed in front of the Walker Building.

If you have any questions, please contact event coordinator Kathy Leonard, [email protected].
