REGION — A quick-moving thunderstorm has caused some damage in Westborough, Southborough and Shrewsbury.
In Westborough, a downed wire has closed Route 30 near Veterans Park. As of 3 p.m., National Grid was en route.
In Southborough, Parkerville Road is closed from Main Street to No. 14 due to a large tree that fell on power lines.
In Shrewsbury, crews are in the areas of Grafton and Puriton streets for a fallen tree and a broken pole. According to SELCO, restoration work could take three-five hours.
The next several days will be unsettled, with a chance of showers and thunderstorms through Monday night.
