Perlman, Dumais advance to November election

MARLBOROUGH – It looks as though Samantha Perlman and J. Christian Dumais will move on to the Municipal Election on Tuesday, Nov. 7.

Based on unofficial results from the Marlborough City Clerk’s office, the two members of the City Council edged past Patrick Hogan, who received 1,409 votes in the preliminary election on Tuesday, Oct. 10.

Perlman received 1,766 votes, and Dumais got 1,491, according to the unofficial results.

Michael Baker came in fourth with 148 votes.

Voting was steady at several polling locations, including the Senior Center.

According to the City Clerk’s office, there were about 4,800 votes cast, or about 20% of registered voters.

Reminders

Friday, Oct. 27, at 5 p.m. is the last day to register to vote in person for the Municipal Election.

Tuesday, Oct. 31, at 5 p.m. is the last day to apply for a mail-in (early or absentee) ballot for the election; Monday, Nov. 6, at noon is the last day to apply in person for an early/absentee ballot.

Polls on Nov. 7 will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
