Clothing and toiletries drive to benefit homeless veterans

WESTBOROUGH – In celebration of Kindness Week Nov. 5-16, Westborough Public Schools and the Veterans Advisory Board will coordinate a drive to benefit local homeless veterans.

The kind of items most needed for male and female veterans include:

  • New socks, toiletries (soap, razors, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant).
  • New winter hats and gloves, new winter clothes in adult sizes, new clothes of all kinds in adult sizes, and used winter clothing in adult sizes.

Donations may be dropped off at the police station, Westborough Public Library, senior center, Mill Pond, Armstrong, Fales and Hastings elementary schools, Gibbons Middle School, Westborough High School and Town Hall.

Other dropoff locations will be announced.
