Lilith E. ChartrandFeb. 10, 1940 — Nov. 27, 2023

Hudson – Lilith (Pat) Chartrand, lifelong resident of Hudson, MA, loving wife, beloved mother, grandmother, and longtime waitress, passed away peacefully on November 27, 2023, at Care One At Concord. She was born on February 10, 1940, in Marlborough, MA to the late Edwin and Emeline (Mossman) Brown. She was the beloved wife of the late Roland J. Chartrand who died in July of 2020.

Lilith had a fulfilling career as a dedicated waitress for several restaurants in the Hudson and Marlborough area. Her warm and friendly demeanor made her a favorite among customers who appreciated her exceptional service. Lilith was known for her hard work ethic and commitment to her craft.

In addition to her successful career, Lilith also cherished her education and was a proud graduate of Hudson High School. During her time at Hudson High School, she was an active member of the Cheerleading Squad where she displayed incredible spirit and enthusiasm.

Outside of work and school, Lilith found joy in simple pleasures. She had a passion for searching for sand dollars and sea glass at Ocean Park Beach in Maine. The peaceful sound of crashing waves brought tranquility to her soul. Lilith was also an avid supporter of her children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events and dance recitals. She delighted in watching them shine on stage or excel in their chosen sports.

Family was of great importance to Lilith, especially spending time with her children and later with her precious grandchildren. She had a special bond with each one of them and treasured every moment they shared together. Their laughter filled her heart with immeasurable joy. Her love knew no bounds.

Lilith is survived by her loving children: Michael E. Chartrand (Susan) of Hudson, MA; Lynn A. Trudel of Hudson, MA; Peter J. Chartrand (Jane) of Hudson, MA; Tracy L. Chartrand of Hudson, MA. Her grandchildren: Nathaniel Chartrand of Worcester, MA; Kaeleigh Hawes of Hudson, MA; Zachary Chartrand (McKenzie) of Northborough, MA; Michael Chartrand of Hudson, MA; Michael Trudel Jr. of Florida; Gabriel Chartrand of Hudson, MA; Danielle Trudel of Hudson, MA; Amanda Trudel of Hudson, MA; Lucy O’Hearn of Agawam, MA and her great granddaughter Molly Hawes.

Lilith was predeceased by her brothers Harry T. Brown and Edwin Brown. She had a special bond with her sister Judy Perry (Robert) of Florida. Lilith was also a loving aunt to several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Their lives were touched by her kindness and love.

The visitation for Lilith E. Chartrand will be held on December 2, 2023, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home located at 50 Central St., Hudson, MA 01749. This will be followed by a Celebration of Life service at 2:00 PM at the same location. Friends and loved ones are invited to attend both events as we come together to honor and remember Lilith’s remarkable life. A private burial in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson, MA will be held at the convenience of the family.

Lilith E. Chartrand will forever be cherished in our hearts as a woman who embodied compassion, warmth, and unwavering love. Her memory will live on through the countless lives she has touched throughout her journey. May she find eternal peace in the arms of her loved ones who have gone before her.
