Debra A. VigeantMarlborough – Debra A. (Bonneau) Vigeant, 66, of Marlborough, died Friday, December 22, 2023, at her home in Marlborough, after battling pancreatic cancer for five years.

She was the daughter of the late Robert and Marie (Calnan) Bonneau and the wife of Karl Vigeant to who she was married for 46 years.

Debra was a fierce protector and advocate of her children and grandchildren. She spent her free time volunteering as home and school president, girl scout leader and attending all her children and grandchildren’s dance recitals, plays, concerts, soccer games, baseball games and basketball games.

Not only was she present at these events and clubs, she also put her time in to creating Halloween costumes, special event dresses, and crocheting afghans. This extended beyond family. Debra would crochet afghans for each family member as well as her children’s friends when they got married, and when they went on to have babies, they would receive a baby blanket.

Debra was an avid reader amassing hundreds of books that she cataloged by author and title so she would know what she had already read.

Besides her husband, Debra is survived by her daughter, Danielle Oldham and her husband Chris, her son, Andrew Vigeant and his wife Maria, and her grandchildren, Gabrielle Pietri, Dominic Oldham, Mya Vigeant, Noah Vigeant, and many nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.
