WESTBOROUGH – The Tavolino Italian Gourmet restaurant at 33 East Main St. is scheduled to reopen on Friday, March 1, at 11:30 a.m., following nearly a month of renovations.
The restaurant plans to be open for lunch and dinner.
Tavolino closed in February to deal with a rodent issue.
“After making this decision to close, we are so excited to welcome guests back through our doors,” said Abigial Winant, general manager at Tavolino. “We have worked diligently with outside contractors to address the ongoing pest issue. All exterior entry points have been properly filled and, as a staff, we have taken steps, including replacing ceilings in our back-of-house spaces, repairing/replacing equipment and deep cleaning every inch of our space.
“I am so proud of every employee, as it has really shown their commitment to this amazing restaurant. We love this community and have really come together as a family.
“In addition to the cleaning and repairs, we have taken the extra time to change up the interior spaces as well. Additional lighting has been added, the bar was given an upgraded look, and accent walls have been painted throughout the entire space.
“With the warmer weather quickly approaching, our patio will be set up as soon as possible,” she said.
