Olmsted is known as the father of landscape architecture. His best-known works include Boston’s Emerald Necklace, the grounds of the White House and Central Park in New York City.

During the talk, Ranger Isabel Schulman of the Frederick Law Olmsted National Historic Site will discuss Olmsted’s life and legacy and his design features, which can still be seen today.

The talk will take place March 11 at 7 p.m. in the Shrewsbury Public Library. The talk is free and open to all.
