Eyes on Owls: Who’s Watching You?

Saturday, March 9, 9 and 11 a.m., Knights of Columbus Hall, 17 Willow St., Westborough. Bring the family and join the Westborough Community Land Trust for its always-popular spring free live animal show. Meet some fascinating owls you may see or hear while out walking in Westborough, as well as some impressive specimens from around the world. Beekeeping 101

Come see what it takes to be a beekeeper, the equipment you’ll need to set up your first hive, how to add bees to your hive, the roles each bee plays in the hive, and how to extract honey.

Mobile Plunge

Saturday, March 9, Cold Harbor Brewing Co., 66 Otis St., Westborough. Registration at 1 p.m., event at 2 p.m. Take the plunge and raise funds for Special Olympics of Massachusetts.

From Ireland to America: Saturday, March 9, 2 to 3 p.m., Shrewsbury Public Library, 609 Main St., Shrewsbury. With Roger Tincknell. A festive music program celebrating traditional Irish music and culture. The concert includes a variety of traditional Irish and Irish-American songs and instrumentals. Introductory Irish step dancing and spoon playing instruction included. Spoons are provided.
