Marlborough – Karen A. (Mikula) Tambeau passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones on Monday, March 11, 2024, after her four-year battle with cancer.

Karen was a loving and deeply involved mother to her two children and a positive light in everyone she touched lives.

Despite the trials of her illness, she continued to exude the same lively energy in everything she loved, whether it be attending celebrations, hosting movie nights, playing cards or just hanging out by the fire with good company.

Karen is survived by her loving husband Steven Tambeau, two children Brittney and Bryan Tambeau, her father Bernard Mikula, his wife Karen Cotton Mikula, brothers Bernard Mikula Jr., his wife Cheryl Mikula, Steven Mikula, his wife Jennifer Mikula, and several nieces and nephews.

Karen would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston for taking great care of her over the last four years as well as her army of friends and family who supported her through this journey.

Services will be held Thursday, March 21, 2024 from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA followed by a Memorial Mass on Friday, March 22, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 11 Prospect Street, Marlborough, MA.
