Region – Fletcher Tilton PC has announced that Tax Attorney Michael P. Duffy has joined the Board of Directors for the Better Business Bureau of Central New England.
Duffy advises clients on the tax consequences of forming, operating, restructuring, and liquidating business entities with an emphasis on tax-efficient succession planning. He also advises on nonprofit entity governance, international tax compliance, executive compensation planning, federal and state tax controversies, tax liens and collections, mergers and acquisitions, and the taxation of gifts, trusts, and estates.
Duffy will teach two seminars for CPAs and CFP Professionals, on Thursday, June 13 in Worcester and on Thursday, June 27 in Framingham. The seminars will offer 3.0 CPE credits and a comprehensive review of the biggest tax changes from the past year and the IRS’ continuing efforts to implement the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.
