Westborough – The town of Westborough will once again host a festive holiday event the Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend, which this year is Dec. 1.

The event, formerly known as the Holiday Stroll, will now be called the Winter Stroll. It will still feature the popular Light Parade where residents and businesses deck out their vehicles in their best and flashiest holiday lights. The Rotary Club of Westborough will also continue its beloved tradition of the formal lighting of the downtown area followed by visits with Santa Claus.

What will be different this year is that residents will be invited to visit businesses from the hours of 12-4 p.m. instead of the businesses setting up tables outside in the downtown area. Free shuttles will be provided by local Realtor Garry Kelley.

More details will be forthcoming in the next two weeks.
