SOUTHBOROUGH – Community members lined Main Street for the Heritage Day parade, waving as local first responders, politicians running for office and local organizations marched by.
This year, the grand marshal of Heritage Day was Bea Ginga, who is the caretaker of the Southborough Community House.
“I’m honored,” she said. “Not only is it exciting, but I am so honored to be chosen,” Ginga said.
St. Mark’s field was buzzing with activity as people wandered amongst the vendors and kids played on an inflatable obstacle course and bouncy house.
Meanwhile, Ginga waved from the back of a car as the parade passed by the Southborough Community House.
