Grafton’s Simple Church is an experiment in simplicity

Grafton - Zachary Kerzee, 25, is the pastor of Simple Church, an offspring of the former United Methodist Church in Grafton which closed its doors two years ago, allocating funds from the building sale to the “planting” of a new church. Simple Church, a farm-to-table dinner church located at the church parsonage next to the Elvidge farm property at 82 Potter Hill Road, is committed to simplicity, community and service. And, while affiliated with the Methodist Church, Simple Church is open to all, including those who have felt marginalized by traditional religions, with the emphasis on full welcome into the spirit community of Simple Church.

Grafton Police to host basketball game versus New England Patriots All Stars

Grafton – The Grafton Police Association/Alliance will be hosting a basketball game Thursday, May 7, as a team of Grafton police officers and other local athletes face off against the New England Patriots All- Stars. Soccer star receives college scholarship

Grafton – In the fall, senior captain Cayla D’Amico was ranked as the top scorer of her soccer team for a second year. She has also received numerous honors throughout her four-year career as a Grafton High School varsity player, including a first team South Worcester County League All Star position from her sophomore to senior year, a Central Mass. All Star title from her sophomore through senior year, and an All State title during her senior year.

Grafton basketball starter helps lead team to successful season

Grafton - As this year’s basketball season comes to a close at Grafton High School, senior Nonso Melifonwu finishes off his sports career as a strong leader for his teammates whose athleticism has highly contributed to the varsity organization. He was a starter for all 20 of his games, averaging 6.8 points per game and obtaining 12 rebounds a game.
