Volunteers maintain new community garden in Hudson

Hudson – Russ Litin mows and Pat Wimmers weeds during the volunteer cleanup held Aug. 11 at the new Apsley Park Community Garden, located on Port Street next to the Hudson Portuguese Club. The garden serves 24 families and more through donations to the Hudson Community Food Pantry. Cleanups are held the second Saturday of each month through October from 9 a.m. to noon.
