Local players go pink for cancer fundraiser

Marlborough – Players from the Marlborough High School (MHS) varsity ice hockey team stand at center ice awaiting their game versus Hudson High School Feb. 3 at the New England Sports Center. Both teams wrapped their hockey sticks in pink to honor both those battling cancer and those who are survivors. The fundraiser, dubbed “Coaches against Cancer” was organized by the MHS Varsity Ice Hockey Team Moms? to benefit the American Cancer Society.
