McCombs receives ROTC scholarship

Marlborough – Kevin McCombs of Marlborough was recently awarded a three-year Air Force ROTC Commander’s Leadership Scholarship. The award is given to those who demonstrate consistent superior performance in academics and physical fitness. He is currently a sophomore at Boston College and a member of the Air Force ROTC Detachment 355.

McCombs is a 2010 graduate of Marlborough High School where he was a National Honors Society student and captain of the tennis team in his senior year. His goal is to become a pilot in the Air Force upon graduation from Boston College. He is the son of Carol and Mike McCombs of Marlborough.
