Northborough – Over 175 volunteers picked up trash and other debris at 55 sites throughout Northborough April 27 during the Louise Houle Town Cleanup Day. Volunteers were treated to a cookout after the cleanup was done.

Houle, a longtime community volunteer who created this annual event over 25 years ago, passed away in 2010. The event was sponsored by the Northborough Community Affairs Committee and Northborough Woman’s Club.
