She was a proud mother and grandmother of service personnel and was an active member in the auxiliaries of AMVETS Post 208 and VFW Post 1027, where she held many elected offices. She loved to travel and was an avid bingo player. With her quick Irish wit and warm smile, Annie had a knack for making friends. She was a loving, caring, kind person to friends, strangers, pets and children.
