Ida R. Manion, 87, of HudsonHudson/Marlborough – Ida R. (Muise) Manion, 87, passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at UMass Memorial Healthcare – Memorial Campus after an illness. She was born in Nova Scotia, Canada, the daughter of Peter G. and Anne (LeBlanc) Muise and had lived most of her life in Framingham and Marlborough before moving to Hudson in 2006. Her husband of 47 years, William E. Manion Jr., passed away in 1995.

She leaves her daughter, Patricia Formalarie and her husband Stephen of Uxbridge, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Anne Smith, and her brother, Joseph Muise.

Ida was an executive secretary for GTE, formerly Sylvania, in Waltham for over 15 years before retiring. She was a member of the Happy Wanderer’s Travel Club of Marlborough and loved to travel with her family and friends on many cruises.

Calling hours will be held Monday, April 24, from 5-8 p.m., in the Tighe Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson. Funeral services for Ida will be held Tuesday, April 25 from the funeral home, with a 9 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael’s Church, 21 Manning St., Hudson. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Marlborough.
