Northborough – Kenneth J. Torok, 78, passed away peacefully at home Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017 after a period of declining health, his loving wife Dorothy A. (Nelson), by his side.
Ken was born in Woodbridge, N.J., the son to the late Joseph and Esther (Nagy) Torok. Ken earned both a BS and MS in Engineering from Rutgers University and, as an accomplished electrical engineer, he held an impressive portfolio of work experience at industry giants such as Raytheon, BAE Systems, Lockheed Martin, Kollmorgen, and General Electric.
Ken was an avid collector of sorts, always looking for a yard sale or bargain while driving with Dottie. He enjoyed spending time in Ipswich and, when the opportunity arose, Ken could be found gearing up for some fishing or hunting trek.
Besides his wife, Ken leaves behind three sons, Kenneth Torok Jr and his wife Dr. Judith Law Torok of Torrance, Calif., Michael Torok and his wife Youy of Cheshire, Conn., and Daniel Torok and his wife Maureen of Spring, Texas. He leaves also two children of Dorothy’s which he was close to, Mark Stoddard of Northborough and Lori Andrews and her husband Scott of Douglas. In addition, he leaves behind seven grandchildren which he was proud of, Jason Torok, Alex Torok, Kayleigh Torok, Julia Torok, Ryan Torok, Autumn Torok, and Thomas Andrews; and one sister, Jo Ann Witkus of New Jersey.
At Ken’s request, all services will be private.
