Shrewsbury Library presents a crowd pleaser

Shrewsbury – Young readers are entertained by comic mime Robert Rivest in “Literacy Alive,” presented March 12 at the Shrewsbury Public Library. The program began with guests sharing what they like most about reading books. Then many audience volunteers got into the act as they played a fun and educational game of “Simon Says,” and mimed each letter of the alphabet. The presentation was made possible by a grant from the Together We Can Family Network, a program administered by the Boroughs Family Branch YMCA in Westborough.
