He was the loving husband to Evelyn M. (Incorvati) McGlory for 55 years and a dedicated father of Clifton R. McGlory III and his wife, Barbara, of Shrewsbury; Susanne McGlory of Westborough; and Robert A. McGlory and his wife, Beth, of Shrewsbury. He was also adored by his grandchildren, Emilee, Garrett, Christopher and Alyssa McGlory. The family will miss his hearty laugh and welcoming smile; he was truly the light of the family. He was predeceased by his brother, Harold McGlory.
Born in Worcester, the son of the late Clifton and Marion (Spates) McGlory, he was educated in Westborough Schools and was a graduate of Worcester Junior College. During the Korean Conflict, he served with the United States Marine Corps, attaining the rank of Corporal. Following his years of service, he was employed for many years at Bay State Abrasives before retiring as a foreman.
Mr. McGlory was an avid golfer and was a founding member of the Westborough Country Club Charitable Corporation. He was very involved in his grandchildren's activities, was a former Youth Baseball Coach, and an enthusiastic Boston sports fan.
