Shrewsbury – Peter Kunz plays a musical tribute to veterans on his trumpet May 27 at the Sherwood Middle School Memorial Day commemoration. The students saluted the flag and a number of the school's musical groups performed numbers, including the National Anthem and other patriotic songs, which were dedicated to the armed forces. Curriculum Coordinator Heather Gablaski was the facilitator of the event.
