Worcester – Richard W. Darlow, 68, formerly of Westborough, died Thursday June 30, 2011, at the UMass/Memorial Healthcare- University Hospital.
Born in Worcester, he was the son of the late William and Margaret (Libbey) Darlow. He was educated in Westborough schools and was a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He then enrolled in the Masters program, majoring in Forestry.
Mr. Darlow was an avid stamp collector and enjoyed classical organ music. He was also a former member of the First Baptist Church in Westborough.
He is survived by one sister, Ruth Hrenko of Douglas; two brothers, Peter Darlow of Acton and Paul Darlow of Worcester; and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral service will be held Thursday July 7, at 11 a.m., in the Rand-Harper-Pickering Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., Westborough. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. A calling hour will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the funeral service.
