Farmer's Market Workshop at Culinary Underground

Shopping local is the focus for the upcoming class Farmer's Market: Three Seasonal Menus at Culinary Underground School for Home Cooks in Southborough, scheduled for Wednesday July 27, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Culinary Underground belongs to the Nourse Farms CSA in Westborough, and each week brings new, fresh produce that really gets the creative juices flowing. Based on what's best that week, easy, three-course menus will be planned around Mediterranean, Asian, and contemporary French cuisine. Summer hours at Peggy's Place Boutique

Peggy's Place Boutique, located at One Grafton Common in Grafton, would like to take this opportunity to thank the Community Advocate for announcing that they are opening during construction. Many people dropped by the boutique and others inquired as to hours this summer. Modern Dentistry of Shrewsbury expands hours and staff

Modern Dentistry of Shrewsbury, a family, cosmetic and implant dentistry practice, has announced that they have hired Dr. Luciana Petto Messina, DDS. Dr. Messina received her DDS degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and earned her dental degree from Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas in Brazil. She has also completed several postdoctoral courses in Aesthetic Dentistry, Restorative Dentistry, Periodontics and Endodontics. Dr. Messina is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Massachusetts Dental Society and the Worcester District Dental Society. Trombetta's Farm opens second location in Northborough

Trombetta's Farm, a family-owned and -operated garden shop and homemade ice cream stand open in Marlborough since 1978, is adding a second location at 277 Main St. (Route 20) in Northborough. In addition to Tony Trombetta's handcrafted ice cream, there will also be a number of delicious frozen treats, including 11 soft-serve ice cream flavors. The Garden Shop opens each spring at Easter with cold-tolerant pansies and bulbs and continues through the summer and fall months with locally grown annuals and perennials.
