Festival welcomes holiday season
Marlborough – Juliette Winston, 2, and her mother, Amy, view a tree titled “Polar Express” during the opening weekend of the fourth annual Festival of Trees, produced by Marlborough Historical Society in conjunction with Olde Marlborough at Sts. Anargyroi Church. Businesses, organizations and community leaders sponsored over 70 decorated trees and wreaths, which are the prizes of a raffle. Other highlights include Santa's Workshop and animated displays from Edaville USA. The festival will continue Friday, Dec. 2, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.; Saturday, Dec. 3, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; and Sunday, Dec. 4, 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. For information, visit www.historicmarlborough.org.
