Southborough – David M. Smith, 56, a lifelong resident of Southborough, died at his home Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012, after being suddenly stricken ill.
He attended Algonquin Regional High School in Northborough and was a graduate of Quinsigamond Community College. He worked for Framingham State University as a computer operator for years.
Mr. Smith was an active member of the Colonial Gardens community and was member of the Rice Baptist Church of Northborough. He was a very kind and caring person who will be missed by all who knew him.
He leaves his sister, Andrea Chase and her husband Al of Reading; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
A graveside funeral will be held Friday, Jan. 13, at 2 p.m., at Southborough Rural Cemetery on Cordaville Road (Route 85). Arrangements are under the direction of the Morris Funeral Home of Southborough.
