Marlborough – Dean Cavaretta, a Republican candidate for the Massachusetts State Senate in the Middlesex and Worcester District, has announced he is hosting a Grand Opening event for his Marlborough campaign office later this month. Cavaretta is running against incumbent state Sen. Jamie Eldridge, D-Acton in this November's election.
The event, scheduled for July 19 at 6:30 p.m. will feature a special visit from Mary Z. Connaughton, a Republican who ran for State Auditor in 2010.? Additionally, other prominent officials and activists will be in attendance.
