Shrewsbury- Full Throttle Marine and More, a new boat and marine craft repair service, held its official grand opening April 21. The shop's owner, Brett Marcimo, assisted by state Rep. Matthew Beaton, R-Shrewsbury, cut a red ribbon to signify the business is now open.
“It was a great day today with all my family, friends and some new customers on hand to cheer me as I cut the ribbon for my new business,” Marcimo, a third-generation Shrewsbury resident, ?said. “I look forward to getting started as the new choice for boat and Jet Ski owners in central Mass. to have their equipment serviced. I understand my customers need fast and reliable service at a fair price. It is my goal to earn the trust of each customer and have a loyal following. I want to know my customers well, and be their go-to place. My number one job is “keeping you full speed ahead!””
Over 75 people attended the event including Shrewsbury Selectman Moira Miller, Fire Chief James Vuona and retired Police Chief A. Wayne Sampson. The opening raffle prize, a cooler filled with beach and boating necessities, was won by James Jordan, of Worcester, among entries from those who attended the event as well as people who “liked” the Full Throttle Marine and More's Facebook page on the day of the event.
Full Throttle Marine provides boat and engine repair, Jet Ski repair, on and off water services, motor diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, accessories installation, fiberglass and gel coat work, winterization, spring start up, shrink wrap and storage, bottom wash, and detailing.
