Southgate and Cinch IT team up to benefit the YWCA

Region – Southgate at Shrewsbury, a premier retirement community, and Cinch IT, a Worcester-based IT solutions company, have joined forces to donate computers to the YWCA of Central Massachusetts. This collaborative effort resulted in a total in-kind donation of $5000, with Southgate donating the hardware and Cinch IT donating the labor required to prepare the computers.

“We were thrilled to have the opportunity to put these computers to good use”, said Chip Emerson, CEO of Southgate. “It is important that children have access to the tools that will help further their education.”

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Jewelry making classes at Heart & Stone

Northborough – Heart & Stone art and gift gallery will start silver metal clay classes Saturday, Jan. 11, in its new DIY Design & Learning Studio. The space will also be available for parties. Miss Tanya's School collects books for charity

Westborough – Each holiday season Miss Tanya's Woodland School in Westborough selects a local charity to support. This year the children collected books for the Holiday Free Shopping Program organized by Westborough Youth and Family Services.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Central One ATMs to dispense $50s instead of $20s in January

Region – Central One Federal Credit Union would like to help its patrons earn extra cash during the holidays. For the month of January, they will randomly put 100 $50 bill slips in place of $20 bills in ATMs in the region. Patrons who receive a $50 slip may simply bring it into a Central One Federal Credit Union branch where they will then receive a $50 bill.

The following ATM locations will have the lucky slips: 714 Main St. and 904 Hartford Turnpike, Shrewsbury; 148 Main St., Northborough; 40 South St., Westborough; and 63 Southbridge St., Auburn.

Central One Federal Credit Union ATMs are part of the surcharge-free AllPoint, SUM, and NYCE ATM networks. Try your luck as often as you like, all throughout January 2014! At Central One, anyone who lives or works in its Field of Membership can join.
