Westborough – There are no contested races on this year's ballot for the upcoming Westborough Town Election Tuesday, March 4.
John Arnold is running for Town Moderator after current moderator Joseph Harrington announced he is stepping down after 24 years in the position.
Wendy Mickel will run for the three-year town clerk post after Nancy Yendriga retired after 20 years. Mickel is now the current interim town clerk.
Ian P. Johnson will run for re-election as selectman in a three-year term. Also running for re-election are Josephine Hensley and Ilyse Levine-Kanji for three-year terms on the School Committee. New candidate (and former selectman) George Thompson is also seeking a two-year term on the School Committee.
On the Planning Board, Mark Silverberg is seeking a five-year term, Edward Newton Jr. is seeking a two-year term, and there is an open position for a four-year term, with space for write-in candidates.
Two candidates, Patricia Fontes and Dorothy Mello, are running for re-election to three-year terms as trustees of the Westborough Library. Priscilla Federici is seeking re-election to the Westborough Housing Authority for a term of five years.

In addition, the Westborough Democratic Town Committee will be sponsoring a Candidates Forum Sunday, Feb. 23 at 6 p.m. at the Willows at Westborough, 1 Lyman St. All are invited to attend.
