Hudson – Conceicao E. “Connie” (Edral) Torres, 88, a lifelong resident of Hudson, died Thursday, Oct. 16, 2014 at Marlborough Hospital. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Octavio L. Torres of Hudson.
Connie was born and raised in Hudson, daughter of the late John and Anna (Isidora) Edral. She attended local schools and was a graduate of Hudson High School.
She worked for many years as a secretary for the Sylvania Co. in Taunton until her retirement. She was a member of the Hudson Portuguese Club and member of Saint Michael’s Parish in Hudson.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her brother, Frank Edral and his wife Sylvia of Hudson, a niece, and many friends.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, Oct. 20, at 9 a.m., in Saint Michael’s Church, 21 Manning St., Hudson. Burial will follow in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson. Family and friends may attend calling hours Sunday, Oct. 19, from 3-5 p.m., at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson.
