Marlborough – The Marlborough High School Panthers softball team defeated the Westborough High School Rangers by a score of 5-1 in a game played May 13.
Marlborough’s Jillian Petrie hit a solo home run and a double, and pitcher Emily Woodworth struck out 12 and allowed only 3 hits in the victory.
Marlborough improves to 8-5 on the season while Westborough drops to 2-11.
