Worcester – Michael Henry Solfiell, 36, of Worcester, formerly of Westborough, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2015 at home.
Born in Framingham, he is survived by his mother, Margaret L. Solfiell and her partner William Thomason of Westborough; his father, Walter Solfiell of Nashua, N.H.; two brothers, David J. Solfiell of Westborough and Kristian J. Solfiell of Providence, R.I.; three uncles, Warren Solfiell, Ed Butts and Chuck Butts all of Auburn, N.Y.; and many cousins.
Michael was educated in Westborough schools and was a 1997 graduate of Westborough High School. He also graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, earning a degree in Psychology.
Michael was self-employed in glass works. He was a talented musician and played in several bands. He also enjoyed fishing, camping, and traveling across the country.
In lieu of a wake, please join the family in celebration of Michael’s life. The celebration will be held Sunday, Sept. 20, from 3-8 p.m., at the White Room at Crompton Collective, 138 Green St., Worcester. The Rand-Harper-Pickering Westborough Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
