Region – Advanced Math and Science Academy Charter School in Marlborough was one of 16 teams from across the commonwealth that advanced from a pool of 131 schools to compete in the seventh season of “High School Quiz Show,” WGBH’s televised academic tournament. The advancing teams received the highest scores on an oral quiz at the “Super Sunday” qualifying event at WGBH’s studios in Brighton Nov. 15.
“High School Quiz Show” begins taping at WGBH in January in front of a studio audience. The seventh season will premiere Saturday, Feb. 6, at 6 p.m. on WGBH 2.
