Westborough – The Westborough High School Rangers boys’ lacrosse team hosted the Groton-Dunstable Regional High School Crusaders for their season opener April 8. The Crusaders scored first in only eight seconds, but the Rangers’ Charlie Katz evened it a minute later. The Rangers warmed up after that and lead 5-2 at the half.
In the second half, Westborough continued its scoring momentum to win 9-3. Earlier in the day, the Westborough girls lacrosse team defeated Groton-Dunstable 6-5 in overtime.
