Shrewsbury – The Shrewsbury Lions Club fed 250 children of the Worcester Boys and Girls Club April 27, preparing and serving pasta and meatballs. The event is one of the several community service projects the club performs; this one is the club’s biggest team effort. While known for vision and diabetes charities, the Lions Club helps Shrewsbury and the surrounding area however they can. Special thanks goes to corporate sponsors who helped make it possible: Brody’s Diner, Sysco Foods, Culpepper’s, Table Talk Pies and Papa’s Hardware.
